On 25th and 26th, Taeyang are having his concerts at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University which is located in Dongdaemun-gu and this is the milestone of his solo activities.
Starting form ‘Where you at’ he released last year to the songs that have been released internationally, his songs have gained great popularity both at home and abroad which proves his solo activities are successful.
In the concert, Taeyang showed his determination to develop a variety of music abilities. His concerts are conducted over two days. There are different age limits for the shows which has attracted attention.
The show on 25th is opened for people of all ages but that on 26th has an age limit that only people over 18 years old can watch it. His solo concert in 2008 also only allowed people aged 18 or above to appreciate.
YG Entertainment said "When Taeyang has finished the concert, Big Bang will come back after their their 2 years spending time in other places. Big Bang has also announced that they are now busy preparing their new Korean album.’ .
Meanwhile,Taeyang’s solo activities have been praised as having his unique charms. His first solo album title song’ Look only at me’ is a very outstanding and sophisticate R&B song which he had performed in a very refined way. This song has garnered him the best R & B soul song award in the 6th Korea Music Award.
