[NEWS] Why is it Big Bang Again? (110321)

| Sunday, March 20
Two years and three months went by really quickly.

As soon as their album came out, their songs such as “Tonight” and “Cafe” dominated the charts.
They were everyone else’s number one rival, and they sold 10 million album copies in only one week.
They even broadcasted their own one-hour long program.

Big Bang is currently the best in South Korea.
This love chaos does not stop in this tiny country.
The five boys unfolded their “inner-flower” by having a comeback in Japan.
One of Japan’s most famous clothing line Uniqlo created Big Bang shirts in both countries and were sold in stores.

Asia isn’t the only place screaming of joy.
When Big Bang’s 4th Mini Album’s “Tonight” was released, the song was ranked 3rd in the World Music Chart.
They are making korean language, music, and culture known to the rest of the world.
It’s been 5 years since they’ve debuted.

Big Bang somewhat changed the definition of IDOL in Korea. Their music always reigns in the current music industry, their music matches the souls to their VIP fans, and they seem to be the best boy group in Korea.
G -Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri.
These five men created the word, enthusiasm.

It’s been a steady five years since their debut.
The birth of Big Bang started while the music industry was in a blank time gap.
YG Entertainment’s smart president, Yang Hyun Suk decided to let them debut at this time, creating instant enthusiasm.
Big Bang joined the YG artists such as Wheesung, Gummy, and Big Mama in early 2000, and they all filled the needs of the public.
Big Bang filled in the dull “musician image” when they debuted.

Things didn’t bloom as fast in the beginning.

Even though in four months they released three singles, the hip-hop and R&B-based music received very low criticism.
Soon after, they released a full album which didn’t bloom as much they should have.
Still, they were close to being perfect.

Everything turned around one year after their debut with their 1st Mini Album, “Always” in 2007.

Their title track, “Lies” captured the public’s attention and dominated music rankings and the “real” start of Big Bang finally began.
“Last Goodbye”, “Red Sunset” “Day by Day” and today’s “Tonight”, we don’t have to worry about them not satisfying our needs of music.

Once you start riding something, it is hard to stop.

But even in those conditions, Big Bang was able to push against the current and run to extreme success. They have risen to musical power, and it will be forever undisturbed.
It’s a great fortune that they will not break up anytime soon.

Singer-songwriter skills overpower.
Their fashion always becomes a big hit.
These talented musicians want to maintain its lead in the idol group trend.

In 2007, Big Bang created a worldwide trend to electronic music and bold absorption, and sound design, while using hip-hop rhythms to suit the younger generation.
Electronic music is now very common and heard every day until other groups such as SG Wannabe, SNSD, and Wonder Girls started to be the main lead in electronic music.
Since a five-member group created such fresh genre of music, it was very easy to concentrate on their music.

The strong support of electronic music sustained the popularity of Big Bang.
Every singer and boy or girl group seems to be coming back with a electronic genre.
In the late 2000′s, Big Bang stepped on their strongest foot by releasing electronic music.

The electronic music really focuses on each member’s skills and talent.
Famous song, “Lies” is composed by G - Dragon and it is easy to tell that his musical skills grow increasingly as seen in new releases.
Unlike the famous composers that work behind the scenes, Big Bang writes all of their songs.

If you really pay attention to each and one of the member’s talents and skills, you can really tell that they really are a BIG BANG.
Both media and critics couldn’t criticize them badly because there was nothing bad to criticize them about.
Evaluation experts say that the lyrics really impacted on the song.
That is the most important aspect of being a singer, and Big Bang definitely did not miss it.

The great music did not come in just one wind.
Big Bang really had to focus on how they were going to change the perception of the public and really be successful.
Though the competition was fierce, they still had a lot of confidence to push against them.

Big Bang was not behind in their fashion.
“Lies” and “Last Farewell” created such popularity, as well as their outfits, which caused a lot of attention.
They had international brands and they always wore the latest trend out on stage.
Men asked for “Big Bang style” clothing, and it was easy for the seller to find the right clothes for that man.

This is the important part.
Entertainment groups like SM, DSP, or JYP’s boy groups always wore clothing that were made in Korea, meaning they all wore similar clothing.
The other boy groups’s clothing could have possibly been better, but you can’t really judge an artist based on clothing.

Big Bang’s songs and clothing may be comparable, but it’s all about the skills.
This black-oriented music is featured all throughout the YG agency.
Hip hop street fashion were intertwined in their music.

Big Bang really has a big impact on Korea.
All five members released their own solos in their own ways: Daesung is famous for variety shows, TOP is in his great movies, and Seungri for his musicals.

That is not all.
They filled their 2 years of emptiness with many albums.
In December, G- Dragon and TOP made their unit group;
In January, Seungri had his own album, and in February, Big Bang’s Fourth Mini Album was released.
They are very successful people.

Three singles, four mini albums, and two full albums brought popularity to Big Bang and their popularity is still rising.

They provide ways to deal with their amazing music and put it into practice.
The battlefield in the music industry is very tiring, but they have made it over.
Even in Japan, they have reached a certain point of success.

It is obvious that they want to descend from their style of electronic music slowly so people can see more into their talents, but it is still scary to do that because there is a possible chance that people might not like the music produced in the future.
