When I woke up Monday morning I went online and stalked my favorite kpop pages, lol. Then I saw ‘BIG BANG IN NEW ZEALAND’ and I was like WTFFF? WHEN? WHERE? WHY? HOW? (lol sorry I spazz alot especially about Big Bang xD *huge fan here*) so I ran to my sisters bed; cos she was sleeping and jumped and bounced and spazz like I was high LOL, I’m serious I bet I looked like a freak haha~ then I told her, she told her friends, I tried calling my friends but they werent home T____T (and I have very little friends that like kpop) so then I just talked to the other big bang fans online.
Since I couldn’t get much information about what time they leave for queenstown I had to find out and guess my self,-So here’s the sad part; I found out that there was a flight the next day to queenstown, earliest at 7am so I had a sleepover at a friends house so we could go together. We ended up sleeping very late because we were making banners, but I didn’t end up sleeping because I thought I was gonna see big bang so I was vey excited~ (i mean come on, youd be sleepless to!) I got there at around 6 and Woaaah! There were heaps of fans already waiting. I was actually surprised at the number of people that showed up. I might say around 30-40? Not at the same time but different times.
In the end Big Bang didn’t show up because the flights were booked and there was not enough seats so they took 2 PRIVATE JETS, I repeat 2 PRIVATE JETS! I was like woaaaah, YG/Northface must be so rich! I found out this info earlier from a fan but others says they might have said that just to get rid of some fans so I decided to wait~ but it’s been hours so I asked one of the Koreans to ask the managers (I thought it was big bangs managers but they tunrned out to be northface staff members) when was big bang was coming so then she comes back and tells me that the managers said that “why would we lie to you guys, big bang did take the private jet because we couldn’t get enough tickets, and plus what’s so good about big bang, they are not even that great” or something alone those lines, I was like in my mind - NOT THAT GREAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You should be greatful that you are working with big bang, cos I would be~ so then after 6 hours of waiting, still no big bang, we gave up and left. Another sad thing is i think the staff were laughing at us because we were still waiting for Big Bang after they told us they took the private jet, but i was just waiting for my ride T___T i felt so embarrassed. I even tried making a conversation with them so it wasnt awkward the man was just like”Me no speak english” lolol.
BUT the I didn’t regret going that morning because I met really friendly VIPs and new friends that likes kpop too~ I also saw them later on. There were heaps of dedicated fans, (I thought I was hardcore by waking up at 5am just to get to the airport) but nope, fans stayed since the night before, taking a 6 hour drive, taking the plane from another city just to see Big Bang, and I admire them for being so dedicated, and I am so glad to have met them<3 !
I heard that Big Bang was coming back to Auckland later this week so then I wanted to try go to the airport again, but I don’t know which days. But then I heard a news saying that Big Bang was leaving on thursday, I didn’t want to go cos I don’t want to end up disappointed again but thanks to my friends they gave me hope that I might have a chance to see Big Bang. So then I went waking up at 5am again (I have panda eyes/eye bags by now, not to mention I couldn’t sleep again because I was excited I was going to see Big Bang), so then I got there at around 6am, a group of 3 girls was there already, I met them on Tuesday so then I made friends with her and exchanging news about big bang, later on my other friends arrived so we walked around the airport then got tired so we sat down, we waited till check-in was closed then we left. We were so disappointed that we didn’t see big bang yet again. I also heard another news that big bang was leaving on Friday, of course I wanted to go but I was thinking that I still has schoolwork to do and I used up all my bus money to go to the airport, but other my friends went again (omg they are so dedicated) but big bang didn’t end up going AGAIN. So we are goin to try one more time and hoping big bang would be on the Saturday flight, because they would have to leave eventually. We werent sure if we were going to go because there was a rumor that they ere already gone, but we tried anyway, we didn’t really know if Big Bang was going to show or not, we really didn’t have any information that’s why we tried going everyday (well almost). So here goes my routine again except this time I woke up at 4am no sleep because excited to see big bang, and lucky enough they do show up!
I got to the airport at 6am, fans(that I met on tuesday) were already waiting so I decided to join them. I was just so spazzy and so talkative at that time talking about Big Bang, and hoping we get to see them this time, after so much time and effort. We saw some Northface staff going into economy class, but we werent sure if Big Bang was going to follow along, so we just wandered for a while. We were kind of annoyed at the rumors and wrong information that we were given so we decided to play a little trick (omg I hope you guys don’t think were mean, we were just playing we weren’t really trying to get people mad and plus we were bored we’ve been waiting for Big Bang to show) so my group(kinda big around 10?) decided we would run outside as if we saw Big Bang, so then we did and everyone else followed and ran along LOLOL, it was funny at that time LOL~ they really thought Big Bang was there, oh and if you were one of them we are really sorry!
So decided that we will wait for Big Bang outside instead, so we waited and around 10 mins have passed one of the my friends saw a person walking past that has a YG sign on the luggage/box. WE GOT SO EXCITED! This means that Big Bang was really going to come and we won’t be disappointed again! We started squealing and eeeeeepppp-ing. Then more staff comes along with lots of luggages and more squealing and eeeeeepppp-ing can be heard(lol we did really try not to, we kept saying sshhh, to each other so we try not to be so obvious lol) but it was so hard since it’s my first time going see big bang~ it’s a really bad reflex lol.
THEN FINALLY! We see 4 guys walking walking our way and OMG IT WAS THE COOLEST THING I’VE SEEN! I swear it looks like it was a scene from a movie! all of them has so much swag when they walk lol. Everyone then followed them in Seungri was in the lead then TOP then GD then Taeyang. All my other photos are blurry of them coming because i was just so shaky and couldnt believe my eyes that BIG BANG was in front of me, i only have GD. They weren’t walking together anymore. Everyone was just taking a picture of them lol, it was hectic~ my friend dropped her phone so o picked it up so I was behind now, everyone is at the front trying to get to the front got get a pictures or autographs from Seungri, TOP or GD. I tried catching up but then there were so many people crowding them.
Then I turned around and saw Taeyang giving an autograph to this girl so I went. There was 3 of us by him. I WAS LIKE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, LIKE RIGHT INFRONT! I couldnt stop staring lol, he was so gorgeous. LOL. After giving his 2nd autogrpah, people started to gather, I was getting pushed towards him (I didn’t mind LOL, but I felt bad so I was trying not to touch him lol) then it was suppose to be my turn for signing but this little girl pushed so ofcourse he would so her first, she was so cute (she ended up getting GD’s too plus she was on the same flight) but he didnt have a pen so my sister offered her vivid/marker then signed her paper, while he was signing I randomly said “WE LOVE YOU! ” then he looked back up to me and said “I love you too” AND OMGGGG!!!
I felt my knees go jelly, I couldn’t breathe, I was shaking omg I couldn’t move~ i tried asking another question but i dont think he heard me, i asked about 3 more questions but i think i was too quiet, i was still in shock from the “I love you too”. My friend asked if he enjoyed queenstown and he said yes~ HIS ENGLISH IS SO HOT! i wanted him to talk more but he didnt so i just left it~ then he finally got back to me and signed my paper. He wasn’t finish signing, then his bodyguard pushed me away BUT! Taeyang was a real sweet and nice guy and said WAIT in Korean, so he finished signing my paper and smiled and I said thank you so much! He’s such a nice guy, he signed like about 5 girls paper. The bodyguard had to stop him or else he would have kept going~ I really fell for him at that times he’s so nice! Oh yeah I forgot to say, Taeyang is pretty short(as we all know) but I didn’t know he was really short lol, I was up to his nose and I’m like 5’1 - 5’2. But his mawhawk was really tall lolol (Picture; He was right infront of me so i kinda have to move back my ipod or else i would have only gotten a shot of his face lol)
So now all of them are at the check in~ all we could do is watch since we can’t go beyond the check in line~ omg all I can is that they are so good looking in real life, whether it’s close up or far~ GD was the cutest at this moment~ he was doing the blow fish face (my friend has a picture, maybe she will post it up), walking back and forth in a cute way, this fan next to me said “JI YONG OPPA SARANGHAE!” and then he looked backed and waved! His wave was cute, he looked back first, while leaning at the desk he waved~ omg, but for some reason that wave was so cute! even when he drinks water it’s cute! He’s just so cute! And I was surprise that GD is not as tall as I thought!(Pictures; GD is in the red jacket)
I left half way because I thought they would be going to the second floor soon for security check, but hey took forever so we went down and check~ apparently while I was gone some guy went up to them at the check in and ask Taeyang for an autograph, the security stopped him but Taeyang said it was ok and gave him an autograph. I heard people went up and did the same but the security block them. Also this girl had GD’s autograph i guess she went to him aswell~
I don’t know if anyone got TOPs or Seungris autograph. They were pretty low key. I think they were both tired. I don’t blame them, I bet they worked so hard. And plus the weather was cold it wasn’t helping lol. Seungri kept blending in with the staff since he was wearing all black and I couldn’t see him from where I was (I was ate the end where GD is) TOP stood out from his beanie, thought I wasn’t a fan of it, he pulled it off and still looked goodGD and Taeyang were wearing read jackets so they were easy to spot.
There was some TaeRi interactiona going on. Taeyang would out his arm around Seungri and would whisper something and look back at us fans. Wonder what he said?
Suddenly they started to leave check in and everyone followed them up stairs. Taeyang was arm locking with Seungri when walking but then separated not long after, but Taeyang said something to Seungri again and Seungri looked at us fans again and smiled or laugh (i forgot LOL). Then I didn’t realize TOP was right next to ME at the escalator, OMG. He was so close! I wanted to tap him but I refained my self to haha. Seungri was now way ahead and went straight to the security check, so did TOP, I dint know if they waved or not because I was at the back. Seungri and TOP walks waaaay too fast lol. Then GD went in and wave just before he goes in and everyone is just like BYEEEEEE!!! my friend got a really good fancam of that he’s like looking at the camera and waving *OMG DIES* I’d have to ask her first if I can upload the video.
THEN OMG! TAEYANG IS SO SWEET! He stood there for like 30sec just waving and saying goodbye to everyone! Everyone said BYEEEE!! again. I think he is always lat because he gives autographs to fans~ aws so sweeeet! I really love Taeyang!Then we went on the viewing deck to watch them but I didn’t see much as we were too busy calming ourselves down to wat just happened.
My heart was racing, I was still shaking I couldn’t stop talking about what happened, I was really spazzy lol, jumping up and down with my signed paper lol, I was just so happy! Then someone spotted GD so we all checked but he was so far away to take pictures, we tried to wave to get his attention but I dint know if he saw, then not long TOP followed.OMG BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
