K-Pop has invaded Europe, everyone talks about it,even the Grand Journal of Canal!

More than a music genre, it is a movement that first spread throughout South Korea in the 1990's. Today is has become a Social Phenomenon which is exported Worldwide.

Proof of this was the Music Bank Festival which took place at Paris Bercy on February 8th, drawing thousands of crazy fans! The Korean music is represented by numerous groups of boys & girls (yes, it comes back to Boy Bands & Girl Bands!) such as 2NE1, Shinee, Super Junior, T-Ara.

The flagship group of the genre remain BIG BANG, they are indeed the best known and most popular in the world. Nominated in 2011 for "MTV EMA", the group has many talents, singing, rap, dance, beatbox, writing & song composition. These five young man released their new album "ALIVE" on February 29th 2012, to the fans who were waiting impatiently. Moreover, the clips of their new songs have been viewed millions of times on Youtube (nearly 12 million views including the song "Blue").

The Boy Band have planned a world tour (The Big Bang Alive Tour 2012) in Asia, America & Europe, and will probably have a concert in Paris on this trip.
