About the K-Pop Giveaway

Korean popular music, or K-Pop, has become a vibrant cultural phenomenon in recent years and a new symbol of Korea for millions of fans worldwide. To celebrate these talented young Korean artists, the Korean Cultural Center Washington DC is thrilled to host a new K-Pop Giveaway each month of 2012. Each time will feature a different K-...Pop artist or group, and 10 or more winners will receive a special prize based from the featured artist, such as CD albums, K-books set.

About G-Dragon

The leader and producer of BIGBANG. The very person that has produced lots of hit songs of BIGBANG such as ´Lies´ ´Last Farewell´ ´Haru Haru´ and ´Tonight´. Cultivating the ability as a trainee of YG Entertainment from the age of 13, G-Dragon has grown as the main producer of YG and contributed much to success of BIGBANG. His first solo album released in 2009 recorded the album sales record of up ...to 300,000 discs and demonstrated unlimited potential as a solo singer with the largest sales record as a sole male singer for the year. His sense of fashion also attracts attention of people in addition to music. How it Works

To enter the contest, simply like the Korean Cultural Center in Washington DC on Facebook (if not already!) and make a post on our Facebook wall about this month's featured artist, G-Dragon. The winners will be chosen through three standards- creativity, effort, and popularity. So, the most innovative, inspiring, or amazing posts will win: show your love by posting a personal story, tribute, original song, photos, video, or anything else you can think of to show your K-Pop pride and don't forget to 'Like' the page before you enter!
