G-Dragon talked about the time he made “I'm having an Affair” with Park Myung Soo on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘.
He began the conversation by saying, “When I write songs, I don’t choose the title song. I write thinking that all of the tracks are title songs. Since I always have performances on stage, I think about the outfits, the stage, and even the music video concept when I’m writing the songs. It’s become a bit of a habit so it’s second nature now.”
MC Yoo Hee Yeol then asked, “What was the concept of “I'm having an Affair” with Park Myung Soo?”
G-Dragon answered, “It was a festival song for a variety program, so it had the program’s characteristics, and my partner was already chosen. I included a lot of fun parts. I wanted people to think, ‘Park Myung Soo can rap, too’, so I made him practice rapping a lot.” He then revealed, “When Park Myung Soo first received the song, he got angry, but I really liked the song. In the end tough, he performed very well. I monitored him a lot, understood his voice and completed the song.”
Although Park Myung Soo didn't like it in the beginning, it turned out to be a song that kills all charts! Catch G-Dragon on KBS 2TV ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook'on 19th October 2012!
