G-Dragon: “I’ve Wandered and Made Mistakes Because of My Early Debut”

They talked about life under the title of “Is Your Life a Comedy or Tragedy?”...
- G-Dragon answered, “My life is a comedy, of course. I’m so thankful to have experienced so much when I’m still so young. However, there are tragic moments in my life, too. I made my debut in my early teenage-hood. I started my career way too young and because of that, I’ve done much wandering and made my share of mistakes.”
- Upon G-Dragon’s confession, Kang Soo Jin honestly and earnestly shared her experience of “hitting the bottom” in her life and how she sprung back up from there. This episode of “Thank You” also shared more details about Kang Soo Jin’s mentoring of G-Dragon and these four unlikely combination of celebrities’ healing trip to Jeju Island.
G-Dragon: “I Want to Get Married ASAP, Even Tomorrow If Possible”
- Big Bang G-Dragon fans should really consider watching SBS “Thank You.” Broadcast on March 15, we got to see sides of G-Dragon that we didn’t know of before. (If you read the previous article about G-Dragon’s appearance on “Thank You,” you would know that he cooked “Jjapaguri” for the other celebrities on the show. Jjapguri is a mixture of the popular “Jjapaghetti” and “Neoguri” instant noodles.)
- G-Dragon appeared on the show alongside Kang Soo Jin, Kim Mi Hwa, and Cha In Pyo. For the show, the celebrities went on a trip to Jeju Island.
- Also on the show, G-Dragon and the other celebrities talked about dating and marriage. G-Dragon stated, “I want to get married as soon as possible. (If I had somebody to marry) I would even marry that person tomorrow.” Then he asked the older celebrities, “I heard that when you meet the person you are supposed to marry, you know in an instant, is that true?”
- G-Dragon also asked Cha In Pyo what it was like to marry someone who is working in the same industry. G-Dragon fans make sure you catch this episode of “Thank You.”
- G-Dragon is a very talented artist and a well-mannered guy to boot! It may seem like he’s the perfect guy for a lot of fans out there, and they were even more convinced when it was said that he’d be showcasing his cooking skills on broadcast! However, it seems we might have to scratch cooking off the list of things this idol is good at!
- G-Dragon tried his hand at cooking for the hosts of the show ‘Thank You‘ during its most recent episode, but it didn’t quite turn out as he had wanted. He decided to make the current trending food in Korea, ‘Chapaguri’, which is a mix of instant ramen and ‘Chapagetti’ (instant jjajangmyun), while explaining to the hosts that “It’s popular lately“.
- He attempted to fancy up the simple dish by adding various vegetables, but worried the hosts with his awkward knife skills as he did his best to chop up everything.
- But despite his best efforts and the awkward chopping skills, the panel remarked honestly, “It’s too salty.” He then tried to redeem himself with his steamed egg dish, but couldn’t help but laugh embarrassedly as the hosts commented, “Just don’t run a restaurant.”
- In the end, the hosts and G-Dragon balanced out the salty dish with the steamed eggs by combining the two together, and remarked that this new combination could perhaps be called ‘Chapa-dragon’.
