Previously, they reported that Big Bang will be holding their Japan tour named "Love & Hope 2011" in May. The group was scheduled to perform 7 concerts, beginning on May 10th and 11th at Osaka, continuing on May 13th thru 15th at Makuhari Messe, and concluding the tour on May 17th and 18th at Nagoya.

Idol group BIGBANG’s Japan tour faced with strong opposition from their fans. BIGBANG is scheduled to have their Japan tour on May 10th and 11th in Osaka, and from May 13th till 15th, they will hold the concerts in Makuhari Messe.

It is scheduled that BIGBANG will promote in Japan in May and June but 'fans had rise their concern'. fans had rise their concern about their Japan tour. YG Entertainment has the same concern as the fans about BIGBANG.

Ever since the earthquake, YG has taken into consideration whether to postpone BIGBANG's Japan tour date. Since the situation in Japan is still not stable currently, the schedule is still not confirmed yet although we have already communicated with the company in Japan for a few times already.

Will 2011 be the year the hallyu idols make a difference? With the disbandment of TVXQ, Japan was in a quiet state until the girl groups, Girls’ Generation and Kara made their debut and set the fire back into the Japanese entertainment industry. Among the hallyu groups, YG‘s male and female groups, Big Bang and 2NE1 have started their activities and have shown their confidence by saying, “We will definitely succeed on the Japanese stage.”

YG’s president, Yang Hyun Seok, have commented on the activities at Japan. “Starting in May, for about 2 months, Big Bang will hold a Japan tour concert and they’re preparing for it. Right now, they’ve been going to Japan once a week and have been promoting a small out but starting in 2011, they’ll be more aggressive and offensive in their promotion tactics.”
