The nominees this year are T.O.P for Into the Fire, Daniel Choi for Cyrano Agency, Eom Gi-joon for Man of Vendetta and Song Sae-byeok for Troubleshooter.

Taewon Entertainment revealed back on June 15th that Korean War block-buster, “Into the Fire” had been chosen as the closing film at the Hawaii International Film Festival, the date of showing is now confirmed as October 22nd.
“Into the Fire” starring Cha Seung Won, Kim Seung Woo, Kwong Sang Woo and Choi Seung Hyun (TOP of Big Bang) is about the life of 71 innocent student soldiers who sacrificed their lives in a fight against North Korea.
The “Hawaii International Film Festival” will begin last from October 14th to October 22nd, with “Into the Fire” as the closing movie at the Honolulu Dole Cannery 18 theater.
On that same night, the main cast of “Into the Fire” as well as the director, will be invited to the red carpet event of this festival as special guests. This will be the 30th annual film festival held in Hawaii and a wide range of movies are expected, amongst which, “Into the Fire” will be representing South Korea.

[NEWS] 'Into The Fire' will be shown in Japan in Feb, 2011

'Into the Fire' will be shown in Japan theater in February, 2011.
The film would not only be shown in Korea locally but also in Japan theatres. The company which is responsible for this showing is Kadokawa Picture. At the same time, they will also organize other films to be shown as well, like Korean films 'King and the clown' and 'Monster'. Kadokawa Picture has about 100 theatres in Japan
It is hoped the film will receive substantial success as what 'Sayonara Itsuka' (Goodbye Someday) starring Miho Nakayama at the beginning of this year did. Since 'Into the Fire' starred BIGBANG's TOP, Kwon Sang Woo and other Korean Stars, the distributor does have high expectation of it. It will also be shown with Japanese subtites and there are about 90 staff members take part in this distribution.

'Into The Fire', a film that TOP participated will be shown in Japan in February, 2011 and Kadokawa Pictures will be the company in charge.
With the background of Korean War, the film depicted how a total of 75 students with love and courage, conquered their difficulties ahead. The film was started by a mother reading a letter left by her 15-year-old son who had already died in the battlefield. When she started reading the letter sent by her deceased son, the story began to unfold.TOP took up the role of the students leader in the film and this is the first film that he has ever taken part in.

Singer and actor Choi Seung Hyun (Big Bang’s TOP) is a strong candidate for the nomination in the “newcomer” award of the 2010 movie awards which will start again later this year.
Choi Seung Hyun debuted in the big screen through the war movie, “Into the Fire”. It was released this June which received the support of a lot of audience of more than 3.3million.In the movie, he transformed into Oh Jang Bum who bore the scars of the war.
